Welcome to Day 25, 6 days to go. It's been a thrill to put my ideas/art/projects out there and let people peek in. Thank you Terra for hosting such a wonderful event through Smeared Ink/Smeared and Smudged.
Today's card does not feel like me. Sorry, I'm just not satisfied with this one, something seems off and I don't know how to fix it. I like the monsters on the coloured cardstock but I'm not liking the rest of it.
The monsters were stamped and embossed on Neenah paper, coloured with copic alcohol markers and edges inked. I found two colours of cardstock that match the monster colours and taped them together to mount behind the monster piece. This was then mounted on black, polka dot, torn cream paper and finally torn striped paper.
The embellishment on this side is two ribbons (black and cream) held together with glue dots and then wrapped at the end like a Xmas cracker using embroidery floss. (suggestion from Terri) The newly created ribbon was glued to the card with glue dots.
