31 Days of Halloween - Day 27

Saturday October 27 - Pumpkin People 2012 (details and photos to follow in separate post)

Today's card was going to look different but the spellbinder oval did not cut properly. So, I ran it through for a second time - never a good idea. Today was no exeption and it creased and cut awkwardly. The next decision was to cut the figures out but how do I fill in the blank space? While I was looking through my embellishment box (bigger than a shoebox, smaller than a car) I found the hedgehog. Since her foot was raised in the air he fit like he was supposed to be there.

This is the one day of the year that Batty can walk on the streets with the other kids and not stand out. She has even brought along Catty who is wearing his new pumpkin charm on his collar.

She turns to look backwards to make sure her cat is not chasing the demons (squirrels)
"Watch out" yells Henry (the hedgehog). "Oh no", it's time to straighten out my quills since she is going to step on me.

An appropriate sentiment as she will be screaming "get these quills out of my foot" shortly.

image and sentiment: Batty and Catty (Kraftin' Kimmie)
colours: Copic alcohol markers
chipboard hedgehog: Pepper & Friends (www.trimcraft.co.uk)
distressing ink: Eggplant dye pad (Ranger Adirondack)
cardstock, patterned paper, flowers: stash
