Happy Halloween! Here we are at the end, we made it.
Today's project is a table setting for a creepy dinner party of four.
There are 4 glow-in-the-dark napkin rings and eyeball placecard holders. The names of our guests was my Dad's idea (thank you Dad).
It was noted at the last party that Dracula was obsessed with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark so we will seat them together.
Frankenstein has not met Cruella but I am sure they will have something to talk about -hairstyles perhaps?
In addition you will notice a party crasher has come to snatch a mummy's eye, no relation to Alex's Edgar who is a perfect gentleman. The quilted fall table runner was made by my talented Mom. (thanks Mom)
The fork was an experiment and can only be used for decoration.
I tried to take a picture in the dark so you could see the glow but no go.
polymer clay: Fimo Soft
ink pad: Brilliance pigment ink pad graphite black (it's nice and juicy to give a really good impression in the unbaked clay)
idea for table setting: a sick and twisted mind
idea for guests: Dad
Hope you have enjoyed this journey as much as I have.
I would like to thank all the visitors who stopped by and the wonderful comments left which encouraged to keep going. Sandra, it has been fun having you follow along each day and Terri thanks for the suggestions and tips to get the card done.
I would also like to thank my Mom and Dad who hopped over every day to see what I've been up to and find out why they haven't heard from me in about a month.
Last but not least, thank you to Susan who photographed some of my projects, offered advice and let me scatter craft supplies over the house (I promise to clean this up soon, maybe in time for Christmas?) Hey Susan, did you notice that I was able to create a project for every day this month. Who knows, I might be able to create birthday, get well and Christmas cards in time also... or it could be the magic of Halloween.
