31 Days of Halloween 2013 - Day 19

I loved this image as soon as I saw it.  I reminded me of the following X-Files interchange:

SCULLY: Well, these may be syringe marks. Their placement meant to emulate fangs. Such                ritualistic blood-letting points towards cultists of some sort, in which case... What?
MULDER: Yeah, that's probably it, satanic cultists. Come on, Scully.
SCULLY: You're not gonna tell me you think it's that Mexican goat sucker thing.
MULDER: El Chupacabra? No, they got four fangs, not two, and they suck goats, hence the name.

El Chupacubra was coloured with copics, accented with glossy accents and fussy cut. The background was embossed, spritzed with Smooch spray and trimmed with grosgrain ribbon.  I use nail polish to seal the ends of the ribbon to stop fraying, usually clear but black in this case.

On Day 5 at Altered Pages, Trisha presented a gorgeous easel card with a link to this tutorial:

I decided cutie here warranted some special treatment so I tried my first easel card.

I used 3 rows of grosgrain ribbon, orange sheer ribbon, patterned paper and a chipboard embellishment to hold the card in position.

stamp: El Chupa from Rick St. Dennis
(31 Days of Halloween 2012 scavenger hunt sponsored prize)
printed paper: Recollections "Haunted Estate"
chipboard embellishment: K&Company
