31 Days of Halloween 2014 - Day 23

You remind me of the babe
What babe? babe with the power
What power? power of voodoo
Who do? you do
Do what? remind me of the babe

lyrics from David Bowie "Magic Dance"

I had this song bouncing around in my head while making this card.  If you had a voodoo doll and could use it for good or evil which would you choose?

stamp: Smeared Ink "stitchy situation doll 1"
paper: American Crafts 6" x 6" pad "Halloween"
banner: Teresa Collins "masquerade party"
distress ink: wild honey
belly roll glitter gel pen
glossy accents
embroidery thread and needle

  3. Well, now you pushed that other song (from earlier in this hop) out of my head.
Bowie is welcome to stay awhile.
Looks like a gingerbred voodoo doll! Yummy.
While I do prefer good, there is a little mischief I could use it for.

  9. Well, I'd like to think I'd use it for good, although my darker side would probably win out and I'd use it for evil! Great card--love that image!

  11. I am a Davie Bowie fan too! I would choose GOOD of course! What you put out in the Universe comes back to you. Perhaps not in the same form as whence you gave, but it does come back! Nice job on the Voodoo Babe!
