This framed bat was made for the Halloween Home Decor Swap and mailed to Sugar. As I was a total knob and forgot to take pictures of my projects before mailing them out, Sugar sent this picture.
I started out painting the frame cream, changed my mind as the bat would be on white paper and painted it white. Then I realized it would need to be a dark colour if I wanted to use the awesome Stamp-n Stuff "Kaleidoscope" embossing power (which looks gorgeous on dark backgrounds).
Three coats of paint later and I was ready to stamp and emboss. The bat was tangled (reference: zentangle or zendoodle) which I have recently started playing around with.

that is the coolest bat E.V.E.R! Love him to bits! I love doing zentangles, too - they are such fun! I never thought to do a Halloween one! Great idea!
