31 days of Halloween - Day 10

This framed bat was made for the Halloween Home Decor Swap and mailed to Sugar. As I was a total knob and forgot to take pictures of my projects before mailing them out, Sugar sent this picture.

I started out painting the frame cream, changed my mind as the bat would be on white paper and painted it white. Then I realized it would need to be a dark colour if I wanted to use the awesome Stamp-n Stuff "Kaleidoscope" embossing power (which looks gorgeous on dark backgrounds).

Three coats of paint later and I was ready to stamp and emboss. The bat was tangled (reference: zentangle or zendoodle) which I have recently started playing around with.

Hope you enjoy and see you tomorrow,
Karen
